Mobile Inspection & Control Van

Designed for field inspection, infrastructure assessment and remote operations, this specialist vehicle conversion provides a self-contained mobile workspace with integrated equipment storage, power and communications capability.

A heavy-duty rear deployment drawer system with 227 kg capacity provides secure access to specialist equipment, while lockable compartments and durable, water-resistant surfaces are designed for demanding field environments. A dedicated fibre-optic cable reel supports tethered remote inspection equipment and rover deployment.

Inside, the vehicle incorporates a full-length workbench, secure custom cabinetry and an organised technical workspace. An off-grid electrical system with solar charging, internal water storage and provision for external 240 V shore power allow the vehicle to operate independently when deployed away from fixed facilities.

Climate-control provision and a flexible interior layout further support extended field operations, making the vehicle suitable for applications including infrastructure inspection, roadside response, remote technical operations and specialist government or commercial deployments.

Gear Guardian Pro - Demo vehicle

Developed as a demonstration of the GearGuardian Pro system, this Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle showcases how secure storage, accessibility and practical workflow can be integrated into a professional trade vehicle fitout.

The configuration combines 1200 mm heavy-duty rear drawers, lockable storage compartments, a side-access sliding cabinet and modular storage solutions designed to keep tools, equipment and consumables organised and readily accessible.

Integrated LED lighting improves visibility within the load area, while practical features including internal grease and soap dispensers demonstrate how the fitout can be configured around the day-to-day requirements of different trades and service operators.

GearGuardian Pro is customisable to suit the vehicle, equipment and working requirements of each operator, providing a durable commercial storage platform rather than a one-size-fits-all fitout.

Mobile Showroom Transformation

A purpose-built mobile showroom designed to take products directly to customers. This commercial vehicle conversion combines secure storage, organised product presentation and easy access within a practical mobile workspace.

Custom rear drawer systems provide secure storage for stock and equipment, while dedicated internal compartments keep products organised and presentation-ready. Side-access storage allows frequently used items to be reached quickly without disrupting the main display area.

Custom Touring Motorhome Conversion

Purpose-built for comfortable touring and independent travel, this custom motorhome conversion transforms the vehicle into a practical, fully integrated living environment while making efficient use of the available interior space.

The layout incorporates a dedicated sleeping and dining area, compact shower and toilet facilities, a functional kitchenette with integrated appliances, and extensive overhead and built-in storage.

Each element was designed around usability, movement and space efficiency, creating a comfortable interior without compromising the practical requirements of travelling and living within the vehicle.

Oz Interior by Design designed and manufactured this specialist vehicle fitout to support Fire and Rescue NSW operations, with the interior configured around secure equipment storage, rapid accessibility and practical operational use.

The fitout incorporates purpose-built compartments and storage systems designed around the tools and specialist equipment carried by the vehicle.

Equipment positioning was carefully considered to provide organised storage while allowing essential items to be accessed efficiently when required.

Heavy-duty construction and vehicle-specific integration were central to the design, ensuring the storage system could withstand the demands of an operational emergency-service environment while making effective use of the available vehicle space.
